FAINTER AND PYGMY GOATS
We raise Fainter(myotonic) and Pygmy goats here at Summerland Acres. We feel the smaller the better for raising farm animals. These critters are a joy to watch. It's almost as much fun as watching our own kids. We have not brought in any new goats since Rhoda arrived in June 2007, and she came with health papers. We intend to not bring in any new goats to limit the possibilities of transmitting illnesses.

Green Valley Fainters RHODE TRIP "Rhoda"
Our newest addition acquired at the end of June '07. She earned this name by the 6 and half hour drive we took to pick her up at Green Valley Farms. Kris at Green Valley has a fantastic set-up for her animals, and she was a pleasure to work with.
